Information we collect
When you join our pilot, we collect your work email and brokerage name. When you log in, we process account, authentication, and session information. We may also receive messages you send us and basic technical information needed to operate and secure the site, such as IP address, browser information, and request logs.
How we use information
We use information to operate Shipy, manage pilot access, authenticate users, communicate with you, improve the product, prevent abuse, secure our systems, and comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We share information with providers that help us run Shipy, including hosting and authentication providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect Shipy or others, or as part of a business transaction. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Cookies
Shipy uses cookies and similar technology for login, session security and core site operation. We also use PostHog, hosted in the United States, to understand feature usage, diagnose errors and improve performance. Product analytics uses browser storage and includes session replays. Replays record page layout and clicks. Shipy masks everything you type, including passwords, and the text of emails, uploaded documents and email summaries. Analytics may also include page addresses, clicked elements and error details. We do not collect request bodies or headers through session replay or use advertising cookies.
You can turn off product analytics and session replay for this browser. This does not disable the operational logs needed to run and secure Shipy.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide Shipy, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system can guarantee complete security.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. Contact us to make a request.
Changes
We may update this notice as Shipy develops. We will post the revised version here and change the date above.
